This page contains a summary of reported bugs, errors, and technical questions.

Bug or Technical Issue reported and not yet resolved.

Items remain on this list until resolved...then are moved to the "fixed" box below.

C/Q. 1   Found bugs.  On http://cca.ausgate.net/password.asp the password field is limited to 20 characters.  Some email addresses are longer.  When I enter information on http://cca.ausgate.net/global/clubs/club_2.asp?club_id=1193 , click on update, and return, none of the information is updated.  The system does not remember.

 A. 1.  Thank you!! Our developer will address this right away.

C/Q 2..  Found some typos.  Ligin vice Login.  Befin vice begin.

 A. 2.  Yes, these will be addressed right away.

C/Q 3.   For the Bulk Update, when looking at that portion of the page to start this, it is not immediately obvious that one needs to click on “member details.”  Perhaps this can be changed to “Member Details Bulk Updates.”

A 3.  This sounds like a “no brainer.”  We may have some different words to apply here, but we agree with your assessment.

C/Q 4.  For Bulk Updates, when exporting a csv file, it was automatically loaded into Excel without any menus or toolbars.  There appeared to be no way to save the changes.  I suggest that you either change the link to force a save (through scripting or you could zip the file first which would keep tools such as Excel from auto-firing) or just give instructions to "right click" on the link to save the file or left click to open the file.

A.  4.  Makes sense.  Allan (AmerAust Developer) will be reviewing to make the best fix.

C/Q 5.  Club Committee Page – the available roles are not sufficient.  Our club has 12 officers and positions.  You need to make available more user defined capabilities.

A. 5.   Yes, we agree and the current configuration can change.  We support the concept of having a number of user defined areas of the database and it is our goal to achieve that.  Again, we need your input to make this database serve YOU.

C/Q 6.  After updating club details on the "Club Details" admin page (http://cca.ausgate.net/global/clubs/club_2.asp?club_id=1193) I am returned to the top level club page (http://cca.ausgate.net/index.asp) rather back into the admin functions.

 A.  6.   Allan will review this.  This should be a relatively simple adjustment.

C/Q 7.  Adding an image to the news didn't seem to work.  It seem to upload fine, but when displayed it points to src="/_IMAGES/ads/pin_crafters.gif" which is on your server (and was presumably uploaded there).

 A.  7.  Allan will take a look at this.  This should be a relatively simple adjustment.

Bug Fixed or Technical Issue Resolved

C/Q 8The number of members displayed should be limited or broken down in some groupings.  If a club has a large number of members, it takes a long while for all to be displayed.

A 8.  The paging on the members page is now done.   It will display 50 members per page and put page number (and "next" and "back") links at the bottom of the page.
